Lots of great and exciting things happening at our club
Some very obvious new deck ,clean up of our grounds , new painting comming as well as the garden club is growing lots of food for the members use and the club yummy
We have updated the club security system as well as a pos system that tracks our sales and keeps us accountable to members for money used. in the best interest of all our baker is working hard to provide us with fresh baked goods at reasonable prices for members, opening 7 days a week now to better serve our members.
In our expasion plans with gods help and some very prominant Chilliwack developers we will expand the building to helpn as many members as we can .with a second story added to include meeting room , a Doctor has said. he will set up practise for members ,we will have services for members including ombudsman to help people with acess to government programs ,counseling services for addiction ,als a First Nations culture and help center ,A preventive gang unit to to outreach and go to schools expandng our presence in the comunity
We have to move from the 60 and 70’s model to stay relevant and insure our club surviives anothe 50 years .many alano clubs have closed WE WILL NOT BE ONE OF THEM !!
We are also initiating a search for more grants ,which are available.We have hired. people to do this important work for all of us ,
The elected members of provincial legistator are solidly behind us ,as well as our local member of parliament , The mayor is as well ,we are clean and sober they support Clean and Sober
We are working on new meetings for the club to expand our community footprint ,
Also hoping to have a wonderfull pastor do an outreach service on sundays that appeals to people in need ,with food given away at the service ,giving back to our community
