What is an Alano Club?
The Chilliwack Alano Club is a nonprofit recovery community center dedicated to supporting individuals in recovery from alcoholism, substance use disorders, and other addictions. The name “Alano” is derived from “Alcoholics Anonymous” (Al-ano), reflecting their historical roots in providing sober spaces for AA members to gather beyond formal meetings. Our club has grown to include Narcotics Anonymous , CA and other 12 step programs in a sober and clean atmosphere creating a pathway to life-long recovery and return to productive member’s of society fullfilling their potential , in a kind loving atmosphere.

Today, hundreds of Alano Clubs operate across Canada and the United States, helping thousands maintain sobriety through community support. They emphasize self-support and separation from official 12-step organizations to respect traditions.
